objective

To design a premium bottle to dispense olive oil for cooking which will be dirt-free, intuitive and user-friendly.

A lot of factors had to be considered apart from where is it going to be used and how. The major challenge was how consumers pursue forms to make it as intuitive as possible keeping the essence of a lifestyle product as per it's material. The thought behind the concept was the most crucial aspect. Getting the colour schemes right was a major challenge in this project since it doesn't follow the cliche colours and breaks the monotony of cooking oil in households.

Colour Palette

From the market research, I analysed that most of the Olive oil bottles be it cooking or for any other use, is either completely covered or have a slight hint of olive colour. I thought of using the rich and unique colour of this oil along with its complementary colour to give it a modern look and enhance its richness. When these colours are used in the glass they have even a richer and different look which makes it stand out distinctly in comparison to its competitors.
